The Construction Trades training course is implemented over four semesters and classroom
size will be limited to approximately fifteen students in order to ensure an optimal
amount of interaction between student and instructor.

Semester 1: Masonry & Carpentry: Blue Print Reading, Applied Mathematics
& Measuring, Structural Masonry & Carpentry Systems, Planning & Estimating,
Basic & Advanced Masonry/Carpentry Principles, Concrete, Brick, and Stone Masonry

Semester 2: Electrical Construction: DC/AC Circuit Analysis, Basic
Wiring, Motors & Controls, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Diagram Reading,
Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Algebra, Trigonometry, Physics, Electronic
Devices, Digital Electronics

Semester 3: Plumbing, Welding & Metalwork: Mechanical Blue Print
Reading, Applied Mathematics & Measurements, Plumbing Diagrams, Planning &
Estimating, Plumbing Applications & Systems, Modern Plumbing, Basic Welding
& Cutting, Seaming, Bending, Shaping, Air & Duct Capacity Design, Heating
Systems, Ventilation & Cooling Systems

Semester 4: Construction Management: Critical Path Method, Cost Control,
Quality Planning, Building Codes, Subcontractor Management; AUTOCAD training
ATVI Students have four hours of classroom studies from 8:00am to 12:00pm, followed
by hands on training from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The hands on training, or ATVI's Externship
Program, includes on site work for commercial buildings, private companies, and
government building. ATVI's Construction Trade services will be primarily used for
small scale development projects. The funds generated from services rendered will
be used to contribute to ATVI's goal of becoming a self-sustaining institute.
