The ATVI Agriculture/Horticulture training course is delivered over four semesters.
Classrooms will be limited to approximately fifteen students in order to ensure
an optimal amount of interaction between student and instructor.

Semester 1:
Introduction to horticulture, horticultural practices, plant materials, applied
plant science.

Semester 2:
Crop selection and marketing, horticulture pest and disease management and horticulture
therapy, soil and fertilizer, plant propagation, farm management.

Semester 3:
Greenhouse operations and production; nursery operations and production; landscape
management; and modern irrigation technology, drip irrigation, bubble irrigation
and sprinkle irrigation.

Semester 4:
Agribusiness management.
ATVI Students have four hours of classroom studies from 8:00am to 12:00pm, followed
by hands on training from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The hands on training, or ATVI’s Externship
Program, includes on site work for commercial buildings, private companies, and
governmental entities. ATVI’s Horticulture services will be primarily used for landscape
management and irrigation. The funds generated from services rendered will be used
to contribute to ATVI’s goal of becoming a self-sustaining institute.
